The ongoing challenges of the Covid Pandemic have continued to impact on our young people and their communities, with socio-economic inequalities highlighted and increased as a result.
As Lockdown has eased in the UK, the youth violence has increased, with London witnessing 18 teenagers killed as at the end of June 2021, more than the total in 2020, and potentially reaching a record number by the end of 2021. With no Youth Clubs and Social Coaches/Youth Workers to guide them, Young People will be recruited by criminal gangs and the resulting youth violence. The Youth Charter continues its National and Global Call 2 Action to address this pandemic of youth violence and Young Lost Lives...
