2nd Generation are an intergenerational organisation promoting Barbadian culture and shared experience across the Caribbean diaspora and local Commonwealth communities

Community Engagement team supported their Commonwealth community sports day, showcasing Commonwealth Games sports and cultural sports from Kabaddi to Barbados racket sports and Cricket via ACEs programme in celebration of the Games. The day played host to inclusive sports and activities including soccer inclusion exhibition and mindfulness meditation as well as cultural food stall, health and wellbeing support and advice.

The venue host, Holford drive is situated Perry Barr 1.3 miles from Games venue Alexander Stadium. The team delivered Wheelchair basketball and boxing sports activations to young people and families at the event as part of the Community roadshow.
