Community Consultation- Board visits

End Date

Following the BHM New Style takeover event at HQ on 27th November 2021, an invitation was extended to Deputy Chair Prof. Geoff Thompson and colleagues by key community members in attendance at the event. Robin Thompson of United By Project, Bringing Hope, led on arrangements for community meetings, with Abigail Shervington: Lead Community Engagement Manager, support requested for this visit.

The Birmingham 2022 Organising Committee Board Members Youth Community Engagement Consultation and visits provided a greater insight as to the challenges and opportunities that need to inform the equality, diversity and inclusion efforts in the continued commitment to ‘A Games for Everyone’.
