Community Games - Canals and River Trust

B2022 Community Team supported another instalment of Community Games activity which saw us engaging with communities in the city centre of Birmingham and Ladywood area.

Activities took place alongside the canal which generates high footfall and activity over summer months and a good opportunity to engage passers-by in activity.

We delivered a cricket dive and catch activation and promotional items to advertise the Games to local communities and visitors to the city. Other sports delivered by partners included Judo, paddle boarding and triathlon fitness sessions, as well as performances from local contemporary dancer funded by Creative cities grants.
