Go Parks - Games for Coventry

Community Engagement Team’s ongoing partnership with Coventry City councils Sports Team saw a collaboration on their Go Parks: Active schools challenge initiative, encouraging physical activity and wellbeing among Coventry young people and residents.

Go parks have had over 60 schools participate, with a Commonwealth Games theme attached to each event.

The team supported the event with a range of Commonwealth Sports activations delivered through our community Roadshow. The event was widely publicised within schools as part of the Sports teams engagement in the locality, encouraging sporting and physical activity within parks and green spaces for residents to access free sports and well-being activities.

Set in the relocated War Memorial Park, the day saw a range of providers showcase sporting, wellbeing and family fun activities.
