Multicultural event in celebration of South Asian Arts, culture and sport uniting local communities and encouraging community cohesion. United Colours event forms part of Charitable organisation Global Sikh Vision, a charity working in for the message of Sikh, for the benefit of all. They “work to celebrate cultural differences whilst recognising that we are all one. Love is the only language we speak and the only language we share”.
United colours, United Kingdom is the biggest multicultural event of 2022! Bringing together people from all cultures to celebrate a shared message of unity through arts, music, and culture! A two-day extravaganza, with exhibitions, sports tournaments, food, for an intergenerational audience to enjoy and experience. There will be a whole range of events to satisfy and entertain people from all around the world. The event will culminate with a Sikh-Led Musical-Experience, with 400 Musicians from all faiths and backgrounds. This one-of-a-kind experience will include celebrated musicians on strings, drums, and vocals.
Community Engagement Team worked in collaboration with United colours organisers since November 2021 to contribute to the wider programme of events. The B2022 Community Roadshow will feature as part of the event, showcasing Commonwealth Sports for audience members and the development of ‘TED style’ talk with our Hometown Hero, Ranjit Singh Wrestling and Kabaddi coach and specialist.
