Leah was called to the Bar at Middle Temple and trained as a solicitor at Freshfields. She has worked in public and private M&A, and most recently has acted as General Counsel & Company Secretary of two Fintech businesses. Leah continues to work as a legal consultant and a consultant professional fixer. Leah is passionate about effecting social change, and collaborates with the Legatum Institute and advises the Race Equality Commission. Leah is a mentor and speaker for GlobalMindED in the US, whose aim is to close the equity gap. Leah is also a trustee of a charity (Big Green Heart) facilitating emotional freedom in young people and vulnerable adults through forgiveness. Leah has previously volunteered with the Stephen Lawrence Charitable Trust, Business in the Community and 10000 Black Interns. Leah is also an author who has recently written a memoir on her experience as the nearest relative under the Mental Health Act which is awaiting publication.
